Hi can anyone tell me what series the OBD plug is in the GW X200 is it OBD or OBD II (including the CAN, VPW, PWM, ISOand KWP 2000 protocols)?

It is OBD!!
This is the pin configuration for the OBD on the X200

All documentation on the Great Wall Hover 
Diagnostic connector OBD II, fault codes

1 - OEM 
2 - J1850 Bus + (Bus + Line, SAE) 
3 - OEM 
4 - Body Ground 
5 - Signal ground 
6 - Upper contact CAN (J-2284)

10 - Bus - Line, Sae J1850 bus 
11 - OEM

I guess all forgot to mention:

It is OBD2 .. OBD1 was an earlier implementation and was limited by sensors, etc.. The GW's are quite advanced electronically. Most decent Scantools and adapters do both 1&2.

As for the connections, these do not all appear on all plugs, as they allow for different systems to be connected.
If you plug a recently produced OBD monitor or Scantool in there, it will auto select the adapted protocol.
Look at the connector as the interface connector on your internet modem thingy.
